Productivity

The Performer’s Guide Get Your Act Together is designed to set you up for success and motivate you to achieve the goals you set for yourself.

So ask yourself…Can you commit to your personal or professional goals for 21 straight days?!

⚠️ Remember! The point of this personal challenge is to have fun while building good habits. Practice makes progress, not perfection!! This was so much fun last year, I hope you will join me and Get Your Act Together.

The Challenge Components:

Habit Tracking

Habit tracking is the practice of keeping track of your habits, typically by marking them off on a calendar or using a habit tracking app. Habit tracking can be an effective way to establish new habits or break old ones because it allows you to visually see your progress and identify patterns in your behavior.

No No List

A “no list” refers to a list of items or activities that a person has chosen to avoid or not participate in. It can be used in various contexts, such as a list of foods to avoid for health reasons, or a list of activities to avoid in order to focus on achieving a specific goal. It is a tool that can be used to help a person stay on track and maintain focus on their goals

Habit Loops

A habit loop is the neurological process that drives a habit. When a habit loop is formed, the brain begins to associate the cue with the reward, and the behavior becomes automatic. Understanding the habit loop can be helpful for identifying and changing habits that you would like to modify

Alarms

Stop hitting the snooze button on your life, and start living with purpose.Waking up around the same time each day is beneficial for our internal biological clocks. Using an alarm clock can help keep your schedule consistent and normalize not only your sleep patterns, but your entire day!

Calendars

Time Blocking is a time management method that asks you to divide your day into blocks of time. Each block is dedicated to accomplishing a specific task, or group of tasks, and only those specific tasks. With days that are time blocked in advance, you won’t have to constantly make choices about what to focus on.

Time Management

Everything you do in life can be classified by its urgency. We often spend our lives focused on the Urgent things instead of the Important things. In business as in life. Learn how to effectively manage your time.

Types of Rest

Burnout is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged or chronic stress. Burnout is a serious condition that can have negative effects on both physical and mental health, and it is important to address it as soon as possible.Learn how to overcome burnout by utilizing different types of rest.

Start With Why

Why are some performers more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from fans and clients alike? They all started with WHY. They realized that people won’t truly buy into a product, service, movement, or idea until they understand the WHY behind it.

Find Your Ikigai

Ikigai, in Japanese, means “a reason for being”. The word “ikigai” is usually used to indicate the source of value in one’s life or the things that make one’s life worthwhile. This worksheet is designed to help you find your life’s purpose.

Wheel of Life

The Wheel of Life is a life assessment tool you can use to evaluate your life and business as it is right now. As a performer, our personal and professional lives are intermingled and it is important to have a healthy balance. Think of the Wheel of Life like a snapshot into your life at this exact moment

S.M.A.R.T. Goals

Having “talent” isn’t enough to make a living, you must also work diligently towards a goal. Developing concrete goals is critical to managing your own performance career.  Learn how to make S.M.A.R.T. goals.

Skill Mapping

Skill mapping is a process of identifying and documenting the skills that are required for a particular job, role, or task. It involves identifying the specific knowledge, abilities, and competencies that are necessary for someone to be successful in a given position.

To Do List

A To-Do List is a list of tasks that need to be completed, typically organized in order of priority. It is important for every small business owner to have a To-do list to help keep them on track throughout the day. Learn how to make an effective to do list!

Most Important Tasks

Most Important Task (MIT) is a critical task that will create the most significant results. Every day, create a list of 3-5 MIT’s. Place this list on top of your to-do list. Focus on getting them done as soon as possible.

Start Stop More Less

The Stop, Start, More, Less Grid or Matrix is a very effective way to keep track of the changes you will make to create the improvements you want. The goal of using a Start-Stop-More-Less matrix is to help you focus on the most important tasks and projects, and prioritize your time and resources accordingly.
